Gabriela Lena Frank is Award winning contemporary classical music composer, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Latin Grammy Award (2009) and United States Artists Fellow (2010). She is a member of the Silk Road Ensemble under the direction of cellist Yo Yo Ma and of the prestigious roster of G. Schirmer, exclusively published and managed. She lives in Oakland, CA.
